SVCC 1st Grade Qualify For Finals

Fantastic news is that our 1st Division Cricket side has made the finals finishing 4th out of 14 teams! A great season by the lads and fantastic for us to have a taste of finals cricket once again! Next weekend we will be taking on the top side Balcatta.

Michael Griffiths is going to organise a bus to leave the valley at 11.45am on Saturday . It will cost $10-15 depending on numbers . It would be great to fill this bus and get as many people as we can down to Jones Paskin Reserve in Balcatta to support ours lads. Please be aware that it is a licensed premises so it would be greatly appreciated that no one associated with our club take alcohol.

┬áLet’s get on board and get behind the lads and hopefully the valley can bring the premiership home.

Swan Valley Cricket Club’s Night of Nights

What a great night this last Friday for the Swan Valley Cricket Club Presentation / Windup night! We were all honoured to be graced with the presence of so many distinguished Life Members, club legends, sponsors, supporters and current players.

Highlights of the night were the unveiling of the latest inductees of SVCC Life Membership Awards, going to Geoff Spackman and Scott Pittaway – Both have given unquestioned service to our club for many years both on and off the field and are extremely worthy recipients.

SVCC Pink Stumps / Sponsors / Life Members & Ladies Day held 14th Feb 2015

The day was a fantastic success both on and off the field with a great turn out of Sponsorship Representatives, Club legends and a wonderful contingent from the fairer sex. The Pink Stumps Day as organised by Gary Knight saw many dig deep to raise $280 on the day to push closer to the target of $500. There’s still time to donate so if you can do so please go HERE.

To top off the day the SVCC 1st Grade Team easily defeated Applecross to keep their finals aspirations alive.

Thanks to everyone who supported and participated in the day which we now hope to be an annual event.
